Meet ceramic specialist MICHAL BEN YOSEF who works and breathes - Israel. In the rural area where she lives, plants and animal life provide inspiration for the motifs and colors that are the signature theme of her work. “I look out my studio window,” whispers Michal, “and I’m instantly united with the sacred earth, clay, land of Israel. The land of my nation.”
In the field of Judaica, her art creations express sensitivity for the soul of the Jewish People and its holy texts. Hailing from a family background in print, Michal loves interlacing her subdued motifs with Biblical quotations written in attractive Hebrew typefaces.
